Materials (figure A): Decoupage medium
Barrette
Acrylic paint
Design on paper
Nail scissors
Paintbrush - Paint the barrette. Allow to dry.
- Use nail scissors to cut out the design you'll be using.
- Paint the barrette with decoupage medium.
- Lay the cutout gently onto the barrette and press it lightly into place.
- Paint over the cutout and the barrette with another layer of decoupage medium.
Tip: You can decoupage just about anything. Try it on old frames, furniture or gift boxes. Products: Decoupage medium can be found at craft stores. Wrapping paper is a great source of decoupage cutouts.
