Materials: Plastic funnel painted silver Silver foil auto sunshade Silvered cardboard chimney insulation Hardware: nuts, washers, wing nuts Gray turtleneck shirt Black or gray tights Hot glue and glue gun Scissors 1" Velcro strips with adhesive backing Silver elastic cord Silver body makeup Black makeup pencil - Drill holes on opposite sides of the funnel and attach elastic cord to hold the funnel under the chin (figure A).
- Cut a piece of sunshade large enough to wrap around the body from chest to knees. Attach hook and loop fasteners in the back.
- Use 2" strips of sunshade to create straps to hold the tunic up (figure B) and attach Velcro fasteners.
- Hot glue large washers down the front center of the sunshade. (You could also use nuts and bolts if you prefer.)
- Cut strips of chimney insulation as covers for shins, forearms, and upper arms. The insulation will want to maintain itself as a tube and will look like tin cans (figure C). Attach Velcro fasteners.
- Apply silver makeup to the face with black eyebrows and a round dot on the nose.
