Spray baskets a soft cream color.
Glue the pompom trim around the bottom of each basket (figure A).
Cut strips of fabric about 1-1/2" wide using scalloped scissors or pinking shears.
Tie a strip around each basket.
Cut squares of felt into three different sizes -- small, medium and large. Fold the squares of felt in half and cut a double loop design on each square. Then, cut out two small leaves for each flower using small scallop scissors. You need to make a flower for each basket.
Layer three of the flower pieces together from smallest to largest rotating them in a random pattern to make the flower (figure B).
Stitch a few times to secure.
Place the leaves behind the flower and sew to secure.
Sew the button onto the center of the flower.
Hot glue the flowers onto the center of each bow.
Cut four grosgrain ribbons into 5' lengths. Thread the ribbon through the corners of each basket using a pair of tweezers (figure C) and knot them loosely.
Adjust each ribbon for a balanced hanging position before making the knots tight.
Place a hook in the wall, and then hang the baskets on a hook -- they are now ready to fill with all kinds of supplies.
