    Materials:

    old makeup compact with mirror
    rhinestones
    Gem-Tac glue
    scrapbook paper
    decorative punches
    paper glue
    lip balm
    1/8 of a stick of colored lipstick
    palette knife
    glue stick

    1. Clean out the compact, wash with soap and water and let dry (figure A).

    2. Using a palette knife, scrape away a small amount of lipstick (figure B). In a small zippered placstic bag, mix together lipstick and lip balm until well blended (figure C) (figure D). Start with small amounts of each and keep blending until reaching the desired color.

    3. Fill the make-up section of the compact with the mixture and smooth with a palette knife (figure E).

    4. On the back of scrapbooking paper, trace the outline of the compact (figure F). Cut out the tracing and glue it to the top of the compact (figure G). Glue on decorative punches and embellish with rhinestones, attached with Gem-Tac glue (figure H).
