Use rubber stamps to add elegant metallic designs to furniture and cards.

    Stamped Table

    Materials:

    Gold leaf
    Duo® embellishing adhesive glue
    Foam brush
    Rubber stamps
    Paint for base coat
    Red Liner® double-sided tape
    Stiff brush
    Wood or cardboard triptych

    1. Apply a base coat of paint to the triptych and allow it to dry.

    2. Apply Red Liner tape to the edges of the triptych (figure A).

    3. Peel the backing from the Red Liner tape. Apply scraps of gold leaf to the tape, and smooth it down with your finger. Finish all the sides of the triptych (figure B).

    4. Brush Duo glue onto the stamps, then stamp onto the surface of the triptych (figure C).

    5. Let the glue sit for a few minutes until it's tacky. Apply a generous amount of gold leaf to the glue designs. Make sure to cover every portion of the stamped areas with gold leaf.

    6. Immediately wash the stamp to remove the glue. Wait for the glue to dry.

    7. Remove excess gold leaf with a stiff brush (figure D).

    Stamped Gold-Leaf Card

    Materials:
    Hot Potatoes® harlequin rubber stamp
    Gold leaf
    Duo® embellishing adhesive glue
    Magic Leaf® patterned gold leaf
    Foam brush
    Black note paper

    1. Brush Duo embellishing adhesive glue onto the harlequin rubber stamp with a foam brush, and stamp the adhesive onto a piece of black note paper.

    2. Place a sheet of Magic Leaf patterned gold leaf over the stamped area and press into the adhesive (figure E).

    3. Remove excess gold leaf, saving it for future use.
