Host Dena Fishbein shows you how to give a plain lunchbox a high-tech touchup.

    Materials --

    Metal, solid color lunchbox
    Scissors
Black and white photo printed (same size as front of lunchbox)
Lazertran Waterslide Decal Paper for Ink Jet Printers
Water dish (must be larger than photo)
    Wet sponge

    Fun Lunchbox

    1. Measure the front of your lunchbox and print image onto matte side of Lazertran paper. Let dry for 30 minutes.

Tip: You can personalize a lunchbox in different ways to make wonderful gifts. For the bride, it would make a terrific gift for your bridesmaids. Take a picture of all of you together, and then put that picture on the lunchbox and fill the box with cosmetic supplies. For a man, take a picture of him golfing, fishing, etc. and put on the box with supplies inside.

    2. Cut around the edges so the decal fits the front of the lunchbox.

    3. Soak in water dish for one minute.

    4. Slide transfer off the backing sheet (figure A).

    5. Apply the image to the surface of the lunchbox (figure B).

    6. Remove air bubbles with a wet sponge.

    7. Let dry for one hour before handling.
