Mary Lyon, host of DIY Crafts, shows how to rubber-stamp and emboss a bow onto a package to avoid a real bow's being squashed in the mail. Materials: Wrapped package Bow image rubber stamp Stamp pad Paper Embossing powder Heat gun - Stamp the image on a wrapped package. Stamp the same image on a piece of paper, and cut it out.
- Place the cutout over the image stamped on the package to mask it from the package.
- Stamp another image around the masked image. Sprinkle embossing powder over the second stamped image (figure A).
- Remove excess embossing powder, and heat the powder to activate it. Remove the masking image.
