    1. Remove kiss-cut blue squares around border of mosaic grid (figure A).

    2. Position 5-1/2" x 8-1/4" large photo and 2-3/4" square small photos on center portion of grid (figure B). Mark position of photos and remove all interior squares under photos with craft knife. (Tape any "mistake" cuts on reverse side of grid paper).

    3. Coat white cardstock with spray adhesive and place grid mosaic lightly on top. Add photos in open centers of grid and press to adhere firmly in place.

    4. To create mosaic border, take cut away blue squares and use as a template to cut a square from background of duplicate photos and a square from gold metal sheet. Layer gold and photo square together and cut in half on an angle with scissors. Cut two halves again on an angle and separate layered pieces maintaining pieces overall position as a cut apart square.

    5. Take two photo pieces from one cut apart square and two gold pieces from opposite side of square and reassemble square on grid border. Pull pieces apart slightly to expose underlying white cardstock (figure C). Repeat with remaining cut pieces in another part of the grid border.

    6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all grid border squares have been filled (adhere any loose pieces with a dab of glue if necessary). Add journaling around edges with gold gel pen.
