Project by Judy Joyce. Use laser shapes, stencils, paper, and rub-on pieces to recreate the theme of the pictures on the layout. Templates are an easy way to reproduce a central theme and coordinate colors and designs.

1. To make background paper: Place template onto palm tree paper and attach with low-tack removable tape (figure A). Turn over. 2. Use the embossing tool to emboss. Repeat to create a random embossed pattern (figure B).
3. To make tags: Emboss palm tree template on 3" x 3-1/2" piece of butterscotch card stock.
4. Leave template in place and stencil with colored inks (figure C).
5. Add accents and journaling with fine-tip marker.
6. Trim paper and punch hole for raffia.
7. To make accent: Attach palm tree template with glue to 3" x 4" piece of spinach paper and trim edges, leaving a narrow border around the template (figure D).
8. To make the green border: Print desired journaling on the vellum. Attach to same length of 1-1/2-inch-wide spinach paper.
9. Adhere photo to frame with glue.
10. Mount photos to butterscotch paper with glue, leaving a 1/4-inch border.
11. Attach 12" x 3" piece of blue ocean paper to bottom third of embossed palm tree paper (figure E).
12. Position mounted photo on page.
