Project by Grace Taormina.Use stamps and thick embossing powder to create beautiful tile-like embellishments. See how one layer looks like droplets of water, learn how to create a crackled tile look, and see how repeated layers turn your stamped designs into shiny tiles.

1. Decoupage cover of scrapbook with torn handmade papers and decoupage medium (figure A). 2. Stamp two copies of the shell onto heavy white card stock using black ink (figure B).
3. Watercolor the images (figure C).
4. Trim one of the stamped images with deckle scissors (see again figure C). Set aside.
5. Cut out the other shell image and set aside.
6. Stamp several Tropical Leaf block images on card stock using green and blue pigment ink.
7. Stamp the word "Florida" on card stock with the alphabet stamps.
8. Use the embossing ink pad to cover each of the stamped designs with embossing ink.
9. Sprinkle embossing powder and tap off excess (figure D). Heat with embossing heat tool until powder melts (figure E).
Note: Repeat the process three more times to achieve thick, glossy tiles. To achieve only the raindrop effect, emboss once or twice. To achieve a crackle effect, emboss once or twice and then bend card stock until powder cracks.
10. Once all stamped images have been embossed, attach embellishments to cover of book with hot glue or foam dots.
