Materials: 4 thick tree branches Saw Two sheets of plywood Wood glue or stain Drill Screws Note -- To make sure that there aren't any insects on the branches, do the following: - Put small branches in the microwave for a few minutes.
- Put larger sticks in the freezer.
- Place very large pieces in a plastic bag containing mothballs and store the bag in the garage for several weeks.
- Saw branches into 2' lengths.
- Cut 2 pieces of plywood, one slightly larger than the other, for the tabletop.
- Drill holes in the tabletop where the legs will be attached.
- Use screws to attach the branch legs to the smaller tabletop (figure A).
- Hot-glue or use wood glue to attach the larger sheet of plywood to the smaller base, being sure to cover the screw tops.
- When the glue is dry, sand all surfaces.
- Paint or stain as desired.
