 Follow the easy instructions, left, to create this beautiful embossed framed card.

Materials: Note cards Cardboard Found objects to emboss (rice, lentils, toothpicks, wire, string, etc.) Sponge Frame - Cut a piece of cardboard slightly smaller than the note card.
- Glue items to be embossed on the cardboard and allow to dry. Lentils, toothpicks and wild rice can become a bouquet of flowers; wire or string can be formed into letters.
- Dip the note card in water for at least 5 seconds.
- Place the card with the design under the note card.
- Press the sponge over the card and press down firmly and evenly.
- Wait to dry, then frame.
Tips: - Paper with a high fiber content, such as watercolor paper or handmade paper, is easier to work with.
- Embossing tools and stencils are available, if you wish to use them.
Products: Craft and art-supply stores are a good source of paper and other supplies.
