1. Cut patterned paper to 6" x 6". Sand the paper and ink the edges (figure A). 2. Adhere three sides of patterned paper to card stock.
3. Pull the adhesive off one side of the zipper and attach to top of patterned paper (figure B).
4. Open the zipper about three-quarters of the way, peel the adhesive off the other side, and adhere to card stock, open slightly.
5. Chalk the edges of the square tiles and adhere to the center of the pocket.
6. Adhere round tiles to card stock. Use Glue Dots to adhere alphabet buttons to round tiles.
7. Journal on card stock using CK fonts and print. Cut journal strips to 3" x 11" (as many as you want) (figure C).
8. Cut the bottoms of journaling strips to varying lengths so that you can see all of the strips once in the pocket. Ink the edges of the journaling strips.
9. Cut patterned paper to 3" x 3" (same amount as journaling strips).
10. Rip off one edge of patterned paper and ink the straight edges.
11. Adhere the patterned paper to the top of journaling strips.
12. Cut 1/4-inch-wide card stock strips and ink the edges.
13. Adhere to top of patterned paper on journaling strips and cut off any edges that hang over.
14. Use Glue Dots to adhere buttons on the strips (see again figure C).
15. Mat photo on white paper and then again on tan paper. Then adhere to page.
